Poor old Lady Gaga. Last night she completely stacked it when she attempted a jump off her piano in massive heels, and hit the stage in front of thousands of fans. Ever the professional, Gaga carried on singing – despite narrowly missing smashing her head on the keyboard of the burning piano.
This is the kind of thing that would only happen to Gaga, really. The incident, which happened while she was singing ballad You and I in Houston, Texas.
The singer jumped off her burning piano, tried to land on the stool but accidentally flicked it away with her massive heels – ending up flat on her back and more than a little shocked. But, she crawled back to a standing position without missing a note – and finished the Monsters Ball without a squeak or a tear. Brave girl.
Eric Souknary, 18, who shot the video on YouTube said: “It was in the middle of the show. She was really high up and it looked really bad. I only just managed to keep the video steady.
“The crowd all saw it and I don’t think anyone would have minded if she’d walked off the stage to get checked out by medics. But she was a real professional and jumped back up on stage to finish her set in front of the fans. It was really amazing to see.”
