Madonna Reportedly Ditching Kabbalah for Opus Dei
First she was a devout Catholic, then a backslidden one. She’s dabbled with Far East inspired faiths and even messed around with the Kabbalah trend. Madonna can’t seem to figure out her position in the cosmos, or whatever you want to call it. Now she’s delving into a new spiritual belief system. It’s called Opus Dei, and it’s a sect of the Catholic faith that was made famous in Tom Hanks’ hit “The Davinci Code.” It doesn’t make sense how the aging pop icon can flip and flop between religions, but a hint as to why she has this time has surfaced. Sources say she had a falling out with a Kabbalah spiritual leader, after she was accused of squandering donation money to fund her crusades in Malawi. A source says she’s devastated by the accusations.Looks like Kabbalah wasn’t all it was cracked up to be for Madonna. The singer, who has been practicing the Jewish mystic religion for 15 years, had a falling out with some Kabbalah leaders over alleged money squandering issues. So what’s a former pop queen to do? Flirt with another religion, of course.Madge is now looking into Opus Dei, a Catholic sect that was featured in “The Da Vinci Code.”
