Imran Khan Plugs India Cyclothon


Imran Khan looked lean and sporty at a presser to plug BSA Hercules India Cyclothon event in support of animal welfare at Hotel Taj Lands End in Bandra, Mumbai on Thursday, April 21.

Imran, 28, wore brown slim jeans, Grey sweat shirt, and brown shoes matching his jeans, giving an illusion of longer legs.

Imran launched the Cyclothon Tee during the event and posed for photogs riding a bicycle on stage.

After wrapping a schedule for Mere Brother Ki Dulhan with co-star Katrina Kaif in Agra on April 15 and returning back to Mumbai, Imran started toning up to be in shape for India's largest cycling event.

The annual Cyclothon is Scheduled for Sunday, April 24. The event will take place at Bandra Kurla Complex. The cycling route of approximately 60 km will be cordoned off from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m.

The organizers are expecting over 6,000 participants. Some of Mumbai's most prominent personalities will be participating in the cyclothon, includinge Leander Paes, Milind Deora, Viren Rasquinha, Karun Chandok and Nicole Faria. Also making a comeback, will be the Mumbai Dabbawala's association with a strength of over 350.

The event will have four participation categories - Amateur Ride (20 km), LG Green Ride(10 km), Corporate Ride (20 km) and Junior Ride (6 km). In addition, professional cyclists can participate in the by-invitation-only Elite National Race (60 km).

The winner will get a prize money of Rs 5 lacs.

Salman Khan is one of the most popular cyclist in Mumbai. He often rides his cycle to studios for filming.
