And in other news that’ll make you regret spending four years slaving away for a Bachelor’s Degree: Jersey Shore’s DJ Pauly D rakes in about $40,000 a night playing obnoxious techno music at the Palms Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.
Already one of the most in-demand spinners on the Planet, Pauly’s stock has only risen since Palms’ owner George Maloof signed him as the resort’s resident DJ last month, those in-the-know tell Life & Style Weekly.
“That alone commands up to $40,000 per set, and he does three to six gigs per week…”
The MTV reality star, who will premiere his own Shore-inspired spinoff in 2012, also brings in the dough from various other outlets— his six-figure per episode salary for Jersey Shore, publicity stunts, and endorsement deals with brands like Baskin Robbins and Miracle Whip. At this pace, Pauly’s earning more than half a million dollars a month, according to estimates.
“He makes at least $500,000 a month,” the snitch yaps.
Pauly’s reportedly in talks with rap mogul 50 Cent to ink a three album deal with the rapper’s G-Unit recording label. He’s even in the running to make a guest appearance on pop princess Britney Spears’ Femme Fatale Summer Tour, featuring femcee Nicki Minaj.
