Katrina Kaif and Imran Khan's 'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan' Romance Peaks at Taj Mahal

A schedule of Yash Raj Films' upcoming comedy 'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan,' headlining Imran Khan and Katrina Kaif, is currently underway at Mehtab Bagh near Taj Mahal in Agra.

An intensely romantic track of the film was shot on location. Set at a wedding it features Katrina, Imran, Zafar Ali and Tara D'Souza.

The ten day shoot began on Tuesday, April 5. Some scenes from the film are being shot in parallel in Delhi during the schedule.

While Katrina earlier shot at the Taj Mahal for Namastey London, this is Imran's first ever visit to the monument and he is excited about it.

"Never mind if my first visit to one of the world's seven wonders is for work. I'm still very excited," Imran told HT.

Imran says he would like to come back to the Taj on a vacation with his wife Avantika Malik, while Katrina says she will like to come back to get married there!

"It is the most romantic place on earth. A moonlight wedding at the Taj Mahal...Yup, that is my idea of a perfect marriage – with tradition and romance," Katrina told TOI.

"Namastey London was a turning point in my career. We shot a sequence of me accompanying Rishiji (Kapoor) and the rest of my family in the film, to the monument. That was my first visit to the Taj Mahal. Ever since then, I longed to shoot a romantic song there. So here I am!" she added.

Mere Brother Ki Dulhan is set in North India amongst middle class families. It was earlier shot at locales in Pataudi, Patiala, Chandigarh and Mussourie. Its topsy-turvy plot has the protagonist (Imran) falling in love with the wife (Katrina) of his brother (Ali Zafar).

The film helmed by debutant Ali Abbas Zafar will have a cameo by Preity Zinta.
